About SWE
The Society of Women Engineers (SWE), founded in 1950, is a not-for-profit educational and service organization. SWE is the driving force that establishes engineering as a highly desirable career aspiration for women. SWE empowers women to succeed and advance in those aspirations and be recognized for their life-changing contributions and achievements as engineers and leaders.
Central Florida SWE
The Central Florida Section of the Society of Women Engineers is a section of the National organization serving Central Florida. The primary purpose of SWE is to help girls and women become aware of the opportunities available to them in engineering and engineering-related careers. SWE also supports the efforts of women engineers and informs the public of their accomplishments.

Central Florida SWE is networking group of women representing various technical fields from a variety of companies in the Central Florida area. Our section hosts different events each month to allow members to network and also get involved in the community.
The Central Florida area includes Seminole, Orange, Osceola, Lake, and Polk counties.
