2018 Central Florida SWE & Florida Engineering Foundation Scholarship Award
Purpose
This scholarship is being sponsored by the Central Florida Section of the Society of Women Engineers. The purpose of this scholarship is to encourage and support outstanding female students pursuing an undergraduate degree in the field of engineering.

Selection Criteria
Evaluation will be based on involvement in SWE, academic performance, community involvement, letters of recommendation, and evidence of leadership, motivation, character and self-reliance.
Scholarship recipients will be selected by the Scholarship Committee of Central Florida SWE.
Deadline for Submission:
Submissions must be electronic, in a PDF format and received by midnight, December 9, 2017. Submissions shall be emailed to the CFL SWE Awards Chair, at cflsweboard@swe.org.
Final Selection:
Committee will make final selection and announce the award recipient at the SWE Spring Kickoff in January, 2018.

- Applicant must be female
- Applicant must be a member of the Society of Women Engineers
- Applicant must be a full-time student at an ABET-EAC accredited Florida engineering school for the Fall 2018 and Spring 2019 academic school year
- Applicant must have a minimum G.P.A. of 2.8 or higher
- Preference is to be given to University of Central Florida students
Application Requirements
- Complete the application form
- Provide a copy of college transcripts
- Enclose one letter of recommendation
- Submit a resume
- Include work experience, school activities, awards, etc.
