Treasurer – Joy Burke
Joy Burke is a software engineering manager at Lockheed Martin. Her prior roles included Senior Manager of Special Projects at Smart Monkeys, and Senior Software Engineering manager at Alcorn McBride, Inc. She holds a PE in Computer Engineering.
As a mother of three children, Joy has a strong desire to encourage children to experience the excitement of technology and engineering. In her spare time, Joy likes to run marathons with her husband, volunteer for sporting events, and play piano.
Over the past 6 years I have been an active member of Central Florida SWE, taking on the rolls of webmaster, secretary, section representative, treasurer and executive vice president. My current education coursework for dual Industrial Engineering and MBA degrees provides me with the necessary financial training to manage the finances of the CFL SWE Section.
